S3 E112: Vaccine Reactions and Chronic Illness

Once in a while, something happens to me that is very personal but also salient as a teaching tool for TMS, and I feel it’s important to be brave and vulnerable enough to bring it to you. Today is one of those days.

Last week, I chose to get vaccinated for Flu and Covid, something I have done at least a couple of times with no incident. What ensued was an extreme vaccine reaction which threatened to become chronic. When I realized that this process was taking place in my mindbody system, I decided to tackle it head-on, which led to some rather astonishing revelations. There is nothing more powerful than sharing our personal stories. When we are willing to be raw and honest, we grant others permission to do the same. Together we struggle, together we heal.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: There is nothing political about this message. Instead, it transcends all opinion or divide and reaches into the experience of being human. Something, let’s always remember, that we all share.
